Today is the start of a new year and the beginning of many adventures, I'm sure. The deck is making progress, as the stairs were put on today! The guys worked very hard to get this deck put together in a matter of about 4 days. I would have to say that it's not a project that I would be able to wrap my head around very easily, so I'm quite pleased that someone can!
Jordon, Liana and Ethan left this afternoon back to Rexburg, Id. I can't say how happy I am that they were able to come down for the holidays! As well as Jean and Steve for being able to come and enjoy Cache's first Christmas!
Today, I found out just how difficult cutting a 6 month old's hair can be. I was actually doing the holding/distracting while Grammy Jean attempted to cut. He did pretty well, except when he realized I was trying to hold him still. He did end up with a good little haircut and he looks so handsome!
His haircut had become necessary seeing as how his hair was starting to stand on end like a "Who" from Dr. Sues' Grinch Who Stole Christmas. :) He didn't seem to mind so much, but toward the end, it got a little more difficult. Here's hoping that next time is a little easier!
We learned from my brother to give Ethan a sucker to distract him. Of course he gets all sticky and hair sometimes falls onto it, but it seems to work great!
