Catching up....

I can't believe that I have such a hard time keeping this caught up! I take pictures for it and at the moment when I snap that photo (usually on my phone these days) a little narrative of what I could say about that pictures runs through my head, but if I don't write it down (which I typically don't) it's gone. What I really need is a little machine that can read my thoughts and write down my words in a file somewhere for later. Of course I would be able to mentally turn this off and on, otherwise it would just be creepy...I suppose maybe someday this will be on the iphone. Everything else already is. lol
Anyway, we took a little trip out to the Bradley's farm in Humboldt, SD back in the beginning of November for Stake Conference and Cache had a lot of fun! If he lived on a farm, he would have a heck of a time! We stayed in one of their grown daughter's old rooms and Cache borrowed their pack n play. It's this sweet old farmhouse that I just think is cozy.
We got to work making applesauce since Cache likes it so much. I swear he would eat an entire box of those applesauce "pouches-to-go" if I let him. He helped occasionally throw an uncut apple into the cut up pile or vice versa but he helped and that's what counts. :)

This machine made the whole thing so easy! Just crank and viola! Appelsauce!

And for some reason, I didn't get a finished shot. I  was probably busy chasing Cache out of the barn that we made this in. He was running after Jared who was taking this opportunity to use his rifle.....of course.

 Cache also got plenty of rides on the tractors. Those tires were big enough he could sit in them! But he had fun and it was a good weekend. Definitely one we will repeat when the weather is warmer.
